I’m Walter Muskovic, a research data scientist based in Sydney. I work at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, where I apply single cell genomics and statistical methods to study brain tumours, which mostly means wrangling messy, high-dimensional data and trying to figure out what’s actually going on.
Outside work, I’m drawn to applying the same kinds of methods to problems beyond biology: spatial data, time series, computer vision, anything that rewards careful attention.
This blog is a portfolio of projects and a running log of experiments, ideas, and things I’ve figured out along the way. Please reach out via LinkedIn if you’d like to get in touch.
